‘Jazz is a multidisciplinary artist from Hampshire who despite no formal education, dedicates herself to various artistic pursuits. With a focus on sustainability and reused materials, every project is an endeavour in transformation; turning previously unwanted materials into beautiful creations. With resources given to her (including an old chair) the gain is to all the recipients, turning scraps into this complex and intricate piece.
This weaving has been a true labour of love for Jazz, taking more than a year for her to complete. Every single strand of thread, piece of yarn, bead and even the base. has been given a new life and been lovingly transformed from the unwanted to something beautiful.’
